DID YOU KNOW?

All you Crocs Rock! With lots of help the children were able to get back to school safely. We made it through the tons of snow back to school. We turned in our boxtops! We had an outstanding time and turnout at the VB bag/L basket bingo. We enjoyed some yummy food at our 1st of 2 Red Hot and Blue nights. We celebrated the amazing achievements of our Reflections Award winners and our very own Croc Trotters began a 12 week program to get them ready for the “BIG EVENT” the Annual 5k Croc Trot on May 1. Watch for exciting details coming soon! We are also looking toward next year and some upcoming changes. Watch the PTA Newsletter and check back here often.

Croc Trotters 5k pre program has begun!

A PTA sponsored, 12 week program designed to prepare novice runners to complete the Croc Trot 5k race on May 1, 2010. We will use a modified version of the popular couch to 5k running ogram that combines walking and jogging over gradually longer distances each week. See the "Annual 5k Race" link for more information and a sign up form.

PTA Membership-

It's never to late to join the PTA! We currently have 331 members (over 93% of our goal)! Our goal this year is 350 members. If you have not joined yet please know that this is one of our most important fundraiers and the easiest way for you to participate. So please help us achieve this goal. The nominal $8. membership fee will be well spent supporting your child's education Want to join? Checks can be made out to "Island Creek PTA" and sent to your child's classroom.
