Treasurer’s Report:  Betty Harris reported on some changes to estimations on the budget to reflect reality and needs of the school.  There is a carry over balance for next year.  We are in good shape thanks to the many volunteers.  Margaret reiterated that the budget would be changing when we realize other needs for the school.  One need was money for school beautification.  A motion was passed for the budget.  We will revisit the budget in April.

Principal’s Remarks:  The featured guest are the 4th grade Teachers.  Mrs. York, Mrs. White, and Mrs. O’Dell.  The 4th grade is the largest with 107 students.  Today the school hosted a music performance that was great.  Miss Markams 5th grade class was on channel 21.  They represented the school nicely.  Thurs. nights’ school board meeting will be on channel 21 at 7:30pm.  5th and 6th grade kids will be singing the National Anthem.  The 6th grade has a mock trial at the end of the month.  And, on the 23rd of April at 4:00pm will be the Dedication of Island Creek.

New Business/Current Issues:  Lisa Backe and Fran O’Donnell.

Fall Fundraiser Company.  There are two reps: Innisbrook and Lavender’s.  Let’s choose one.  They handed out a sheet explaining the Pro’s and Cons of each one.  After much discussion, Howard motions to vote.  The yea’s have it for Innisbrook.

Membership---Liz Dunn.  Doing well.

Sharon Reynolds was asking people to sign petition to amend the snow plowing contract to include the sidewalks.  Because at this time, no one is responsible for clearing them and kids still have to walk to school.  Only Island Creek residents can sign though.

Motion to adjourn meeting---Margaret.  Seconded by Howard. Meeting ends at 8:09pm.
